IBM 300GL - 6282

I'm trying to add a new computer - IBM 300GL model 6282 - It has the 430VX chipset (already emulated) and the PC87307 Super I/O (only the PC87306 has been coded) I tried to compile the new model using the PC87306 Super I/O but doesn't work. When I try to run the new model the emulator quits - I sear...

In the configuration window I can select 768kB RAM for a Generic Turbo XT.
Question: What happens to the 128kB above 640kB?
Can't it be used by HIMEM like you Philips?

Official pcem is not compiled with MSYS2. it is compiled with the other mingw and not using the exact same versions of the dependencies.
You need to use the dlls that are in msys2.
It works now, I feel so newbie at this

Thanks to the advise of ruben_balea I managed to get the pcem.exe file I renamed pcem.exe to pcem2.exe I moved it to the oficial PCem v15 exe folder The first thing I notieced is the oficial v15 exe is 17 MB large while the new binary I compiled is only 7 MB... I'm compiling as ruben_balea said and works fine, but I get a compilation error at some point - I'm missing pcap.h used in ne2000.c
I believe I'm missing a library
I typed "pacman -Ss libpcap-dev" but didn't work. Any advice?

[ I recorded behaviour of the game with two other options available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQd4A4_h6ng Here it works because you're running the game with the Virge card and NOT the Voodoo, and as leilei said, the problem relies on the Voodoo emulation Also, I bet the Virge artifacts are r...

The Virge/DX is ok, it really doesn't matter for games as they switch to the Voodoo
As for the FIC mobo make sure you have the BIOS in the correct ROM folder

Try to configure the FIC motherboard with a K6-III @ 400 with a Voodoo2 SLI and 128 or 256 MB RAM
All the games you mention should work OK with the exception of Max Payne that I think needs more powerful hardware

orarsis81, On a 386 which PCem emulates, the motherboard which uses the OPTi-495SX chipset, the RAM is actually limited to 32 MB , not 256 MB. Like Sarah said, PCem tries to emulate real behavior of the emulated hardware, but for instance in the 386DX AMI clone you can selected up to 256 MB RAM - that is possible with very uncommon RAM sticks and expansion adapters

Try mounting the image with Alcohol 120% and then in PCem mount that drive (Alcohol unit)

With the FIC-VA503+ selecting high clock rate for the K6-2 or K6-III result wrongly detected by the BIOS. eg. if you select the K6-2/533 it will display as if it were a 526 mhz - a 500 k6-2 the bios will see it as a 481 mhz
