The problem is that with the latest allegro (version 4.4.2) having switched to cmake, is missing allegro.m4. You can get this from an earlier version, I used allegro-4.2.3.1, it lives in the misc directory/folder. There are then two ways to fix the build, either copy allegro.m4 to your aclocal direc...
