host cpu + loop = emulated cpu boost + accurate cpu emulation

Hello and a happy new year. :) There are games, which used the frequency of the cpu to adjust the speed of the game. If you wanted to play these games on new pcs then those games ran at incredible speed. You had to slow down the cpu. In PCem there is the possibility to "insert" an image of...

Re: Dynamic recompiler

My english is not very good, perhaps I haven't understood it right, there is a game, (Star Trek Armada), which needs a Pentium 200 MHz minimum (this should be able to be emulated with PCem), and the voodoo from PCem V11 can only reach the resolution 800*600. This is a qarter of what is maximum possi...

Re: 3DFX emulation

Is this here not a new Rev. of PCem?

And I was asking for the PCem-Version for this:

Re: SVGA question

Do you have installed the s3 virge driver?
Google for "W9531201.zip" and install it in windows.
Perhaps then you can find S3 in regedit.

Re: SVGA question

1.) Double click on "ref_800_600".
2.) Click with the mouse to the right of the last number. The Cursor jumps to there.
3.) Write for example 10 to there.
4.) Click on ok.

Re: SVGA question

I don't know, but you could try to reduce the refresh rate of the card. In Win95 open regedit, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", "SOFTWARE", "S3", "Refresh". At "ref_800x600" add the hexadecimal value 10 to it. Then go to the monitor settings, "actual...

Star Trek Armada not switchable between 2d and 3d card

Hello everybody. First of all I want to congratulate for the brilliant emulator. I think I have found 1 or 2 bugs. In the game "Star Trek Armada 1" you can choose between different cards. If in the game settings the voodoo-card is choosen, the game crashs to desktop. If in the game setting...
