Well, I've tried running it on linux. Same issue. No error messages either.
So, the problem is OS agnostic, but hardware specific.
Turned off virtualization. Same issue.
What?

PCem does not render anything.
I'm fairly certain that this problem isn't going to be effecting anyone else soon, but it is still a problem. So, I haven't fiddled with PCem for about a month (busy moving and stuff), and now it doesn't work. Sorta. First off, a month ago, things were hunky dory. No problems whatsoever, well except...

Re: v15 compatibility & bug list (WIP)
It seems I was mistaken when I asserted that the graphical issues persisted across both windows and linux. There are a few smaller oddities that are shared, such as discoloration of images in all versions of internet explorer on windows 98 when using the generic S3 VIRGE DX driver, but the major iss...

Re: v15 compatibility & bug list (WIP)
This is a bit late, but I've had a long standing issue I've never actually bothered to report :D Anyways, using the ATI Graphics Pro Turbo card, I get pretty colors and screen corruption from certain actions., notably, any time an image is transformed, or whenever a window is closed (when in win3.1 ...

Release just in time for my B-Day. XD. Look forward to seeing how the new recompiler works. Every little bit of performance helps.

Re: Is drive sound emulation possible?
Could possibly use contact mics to sample drive sounds? Could then mix them properly (simulated speakers for headphone users!!!) for maximum nostalgia! That would also probably be pretty hard.

Re: Is drive sound emulation possible?
I'm actually in love with where this thread is going. I'd recommend using a shorter sample for the clicking sounds, if it's too long (and it is) it can sound a bit weird when it clicks a lot. (sort of like when physics objects get stuck in the ground in Half Life). I'd also recommend toning down the...

Core i7 4 core @ 3.4GHz

Geforce 660M

WIN 10
Can do pretty much everything up to P70 fullspeed, W/voodoo emulation. Technically enough to complete Half-life. At 10fps XD. Not fast enough for any MMX cpus though. Heard there was a dynarec rewrite in the works? Here's hoping

Re: Internet Archive Replay through Procy Server Viability
Got wrp working, and a few years ago it might have had alot of utility, but the fact is that wrp does not work with https websites, and as basically everything uses https now, nothing really works. That is one of the reason I want to get the other thing working. As far as I can tell, all I need is t...

Re: Internet Archive Replay through Procy Server Viability
Nice to know, and I can probably use this to make browsing the net on my win98 machine bearable, but I was hoping to get a proxy server that routed traffic through an Internet archive service such as Wayback. This would not only make the web work, but let me see the web as it was.

And the dump files too, all the log says is 'the hard drive was accessed a lot'. I'll make sure to post mine too, will be a few more hours.

Quick note, it stopped for me regardless of if I decided to back up the previous install. Will post logs later when I can get them, don't currently have access to the computer I used.

Internet Archive Replay through Procy Server Viability
About two years ago, some genius launched Old Web Today, a service that loads up a copy of an old web browser and routs traffic through several internet archives. There is a list of software that is used for this, and I am left wandering if there is not a way to set up a proxy server that PCEM can u...

Re: Windows 98 FE to SE upgrade crash
As a side note, the retail cd works on a blank machine, so I can install it. The upgrade dialogue crashing he program is the interesting note. Will try with a fresh build this afternoon.

Windows 98 FE to SE upgrade crash
PCEM crashes when I try to upgrade Windows 98 FE to SE. Crash happens on both full retail and upgrade disks. PCEM crashes immediately after hitting next on the window that asks if I want to save the system files in case I want to uninstall SE. This crash happens weather I click yes or no. It is easy...

Re: PCEM build fails when building both WX and networking
Ok, swiched to TDM-GCC compiler and it goes further now, but it's still getting stuck on something. I've been trying to search for an awnser by myself, but I have had no luck so far. Here is the log. windres.exe -Ie:/mingwget/include/wx//../ -i wx.rc --input-format=rc -o wx.res -O coff windres.exe: ...

PCEM build fails when building both WX and networking
I can get pcem to build with networking enabled. I can also get pcem to build with wx and sdl enabled. I cannot, however get it to build with both wx and networking enabled. That makes me pretty sad, love using shaders, and networking would be the cherry on top. It fails on wxhostconfig.c every time...

Re: PCem build guide
Any help for building with network support AND WX? Every time I try to build Makefile.mingw-wx-sdl2-network mingw errors out on wx-hostconfig.c . Any help with that would be nice. I do have both WX and PCap libs, and I can build a wx version without networking, but i cant do both. here is log: In fi...

Re: PCem build guide
I can build succesfully, but whenever I try to run it it asks for dlls. I can find most of them laying about the mingw directory, and I can get the rest from the pcem download, but the Openal32.dll throws an error. No idea where to get a working version.

Re: PCem build guide
is there a way to build the wxwidgets port for windows? get the headers and lib files from this site: https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/releases/tag/v3.1.0 they will be in separate archives. Get wxWidgets-3.1.0-headers and wxMSW-3.1.0_gcc510TDM_Dev. Copy the headers to the include folder from ...
