No, because the fix will have a negative impact on compatibility in other areas and that's a problem I don't want to be trying to detangle right now.

Re: [request] Implement onboard chips emulation

Funny that this should come up now, I was actually just thinking recently about how nice it would be to have Trio64V+ and Vibra16 emulation in PCem, not specifically the integrated Advanced/EV versions but just generally speaking. I had a couple of standalone Trio64V+ and Vibra16 cards back in the ...

Re: Linux

Hi,

I've tried install S.u.S.E. Linux 5.3 into PCem, but it seems always stuck at floppy drive detection.

I'm using PCem v13.1 (Windows version) on Windows 10.

Also Happy New Year!

There wasn't a bug here. User was running the wrong BIOS. Why did you dig up this 2 year old thread anyway? I'm sorry about that. but I know this is due to user running wrong BIOS. I know that it's not a bug. Unfortunately I can't remove my previous post, So I can only edit my previous post anyway.

Re: Sharp PC-4521 in PCem?

What about implementing Sharp PC 7221. According PC-Magazine from march 1988 on page 123 says the are similar, both of the had the monochrome blue screen and the same memory limit of 1.6 MB. Except the PC 7221 has a 80286 cpu running at 6,8 or 10 mhz, which may be easier to emulate. The biggest dif...

Re: Patch: Toshiba T3100e

I found a bug that MS-DOS version 5.0 or greater version crashes when kernel is loaded in HMA area when I use 1024KB memory configuration. To fix this problem, you should add mem_mapping_set_exec() call to t3100e_map_ram function in t3100e.c. Previous code: /* Bit 4 set if upper RAM is mapped to hi...

Re: [Feature Suggestion] Language pack

PCem needs being Unicode before making Language packs. (Unicode doesn't work on Windows 9x host. but who using 9x yet?) Why Unicode? Currently, PCem can't find files (ROM, HDD Image, and so on) if installed path has Non-English character. This issue can solve when making PCem to Unicode. ... and ne...

I combined these MIDI patches from this thread against PCem rev#9c1822d. I hope to implement new MIDI features(mt32emu, fluidsynth) into PCem v13. * Munt mt32emu version is 2.2.0. this requires those ROM files. * FluidSynth requires those libraries based 1.1.6 (FluidSynth 1.1.7 works, maybe...)
