PCEm requirements?
Hi all,
I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 x64 but I keep on getting an 'file not found' error. It appears to be a Direct3D dll from DirectX 9. I'm guessing I should download and install the DirectX9 SDK?
What other libraries should I grab for the best performance?

Re: Would like to add my own ROMs to PCem for personal use.
Ahh... gotcha. :) I can remember all the specs of my family's first home computer quite well. 486 DX2 66, Trident VLB card, SB16, 6GB HDD Fujitsu overlay, DOS 6.22, Win3.11g. Later on I did pickup an ASUS P2B-DS motherboard but that got scrapped before I got in to PC emulation. I also remember havin...

Re: Windows 98 SE audio lag
Do you think I'll have better results if I overclock my Core i5 2500k CPU a little bit?
Just going to add that my 7th gen i5 system has no issues whatsoever.
Probably it has to be my older i5 system like you said in your previous post.

Re: Windows 98 SE audio lag
Hi Sarah, Here is the system I am trying to emulate.
Award 430VX PCI, Pentium MMX 233, 128 MB RAM, ATI Graphics Pro Turbo (Mach64 GX) Fast VLB/PCI, Voodoo 2, Sound Blaster 16, PS/2 Mouse.
The CPU speed is around 100 - 105%.

Windows 98 SE audio lag
I've made a Pentium 2 system for my old games and it works great but the only issue is that the sound is lagging. For example, when you click on the volume slider and Windows makes a 'ding' sound, it would go 'ding ding ding', like it repeats a bunch of times. It's really bad when you run dxdiag and...

Ahh, okay. Thanks! Yeah, I don't have anymore parts laying around from that decade.

Would like to add my own ROMs to PCem for personal use.
Hello, How can I add my own ROM's to PCem? I have some older systems that I would like to dump the ROM over to PCem, somehow. The thing is that they both have an ATI chipset and an AMD CPU. One is an HP DC5750 SFF (Athlon x2) and the other is an older COMPAQ (Sempron). Lastly, what's the newest CPU....
