The mother of all requests

I was wondering if it's possible to select a folder in the host hard disk in the HDD Config instead of an image file to make file sharing from host to PCem much simpler and quicker.
Not now of course that PCem is feature frozen I know, but in a future release

I have never heard of that OPTi Python chipset before!
Is it superior to any Intel 430xx?

Did you take that screen with the latest commit of PCem? Because just a few days ago Sarah made some improvements on the S3 Trio64

Just out of curiosity...
The Laser XT and the Laser Compact XT have the same chipset, BIOS and video card? Would it make sense to add the Compact XT?

Works fine here!
Virge DX + Voodoo2 (recompiler on)
I even didn't install the game, just ran from autoplay
Did you change some settings? Or play with default settings?

Did you test another 2D card? Another Voodo driver?

Re: Patch: Toshiba T3100e

I haven't implemented the 'turbo' commands (though the appropriate keypresses [Fn]+[PgUp] / [Fn]+[PgDn] are detected), because I don't know how / if the CPU speed can be changed while emulation is running. The CPU speed can be changed on the fly, as you can change it PCem's config menu too and PCem...

Re: [Feature Suggestion] Language pack

My opinion: All the PCem options are really easy to read even if English is not your native language. Maybe a better idea would be to have better documentation on how to run PCem for "newbies" or how to read some options like those in the Stats But, if a language pack is included I wouldn't mind, ju...

Re: questions about pcem

You're running the game from the CD and the game wants to write something to it and, of course as it a CD-ROM it can't write. Copy all the contents of the CD to a folder in the hard disk and run it from there

Is "Internal IDE" and is the only option in the old GUI, I don't know how to compile the new one, but if you didn't update it, that explains it. I'll have to wait for v13. Thanks!

Most versions (if not all) that you get from abandonware sites only contains the files (not disk images) and cracked, so floppy protection can be easily circumvented
