I've set a limit of 20 new topics per user per day - hopefully this means that if any spammers slip through the net it should be a bit less dramatic than it was today!

Thankfully I can delete the spammer and all their posts in one operation!

Sorry about this - I do approve all accounts to try to prevent this kind of thing, but clearly I've been a bit too lenient recently...

Re: S3 Trio64 1mb reports as 2mb

Yep, that looks like EDO. I've committed my fix at rev 941.

Technically I should probably also limit this card to 2 MB, as the Trio64 only supports 4 MB with FPM. I'd probably get shouted at though.

It would be helpful if you said what version of the Logitech serial driver you were using. Also what the PCem configuration was. I don't like having to guess.

Re: S3 Trio64 1mb reports as 2mb

I have a suspicion as to what the problem may be. leilei, could you confirm if the board you dumped the BIOS from has FPM or EDO memory? A quick google of the RAM part number should say one way or another. I _think_ that there's a difference in how memory is mapped between the FPM and EDO versions o...

Re: Pre-v13WIP compat list

I76 won't work on my real PMMX/V2 for some reason. However, I did some googling, and it seems this is a genuine incompatibility with V2. Reducing texture memory to 2MB seems to eliminate the crashing.

Are you definitely sure this works on a real Voodoo 2? I can now reproduce the above issue when emulating V2, but cannot reproduce when emulating V1.

There wasn't a bug here. User was running the wrong BIOS.

No. But you could use rev 931, which fixes SP6a on IDE.

Re: NT4 could not logon after SP6a installed

Interestingly you can work around this by using SCSI - with the Adaptec AHA-1542 (and rev 930 which fixes a bug) SP6a seems to work okay. Still looking in to why it doesn't work with IDE.

i) The T1000 has an optional 768k memory expansion, which is battery-backed and can be configured as a persistent RAMdisk. The question is how I should attempt to implement this in PCEM -- as a very small hard drive with a fixed format, or as a very big NVRAM? I'd suggest implementing this as an NV...
