i downloaded latest pcem version, and used my old config on it, and worked fine, no problem about it. tried a couple of dos and win games, everything seemed ok, i turned it off and called it a day. I reopened it today,i get to the pcem interface where you can configure cards, cpu etc,i click the "...

Re: Audio cracking\stuttering on win 98
Did you try by changing the buffer in the PCem options? err..exactly where is this option? cannot find it in "configure" I'm afraid that option is only available in the latest build revisions that you have to manually compile yourself. which i am unable to do. not even pcem-x has it?

I could be beating the mule here, but glsetup gives you a working video environment with a few clicks. Skip all the go online for updates, add email whatnot, and if you mess up just run it again... I packed glsetupb into an iso https://ufile.io/hzydy thanks i'll try it now omarsis81: no same issue ...

are you still getting the "expected Voodoo, none detected" error when Windows starts? I had the same problem, but I solved it easly like I told before. Uninstalled the previous driver, extracted the new V2 driver in a temp folder, then go to My PC, Properties, devices, I locate the Voodoo...

Re: Interstate 76 nitro pack crashes to desktop if run with glide
Failing driver installation, delete glide2x.dll from your i76 directory. It shouldn't be there normally, ever. (I can only imagine a pirate repack doing this for some "working fixed dosbox daum version" rather ignorantly) that's the problem..is nto a pirated version or anything, is the ve...

What's the need of using a beta driver? Try last reference driver http://falconfly.vogonswiki.com/downloads/voodoo2-30202.zip ok.. 1)uninstalled previous driver 2)rebooted 3)device found, pointed it at the driver you just linked 4)rebooted 5)....same issue. Re: Interstate 76 nitro pack crashes to desktop if run with glide
"disable filter" and "reinstall opengl" are blind advice as they have nothing to do with the Glide driver not finding the card it's programmed for. Reinstall your Voodoo2 drivers. The error message shows the Glide2x.dll from the V1 drivers is still there and should be replaced w...

Re: Early win 95 game in high res EXTREMELY slow
Solstar82, most likely everyone would tell you, chose virge dx/gx , it is probably the best for 2d and 3d ,any way, wait for other opinions. well i'd be damned..it is indeed faster! not incredibly faster, but still faster than before , by using now the virge dx!not only that, but many games that req...

Re: Early win 95 game in high res EXTREMELY slow
I can assure you it's this slow on the real thing. This thread doesn't sound like a PCem bug to me; it's more of a misled perception issue. Not all games ran smoothly in their period. A very very nice example of this is Jane's US Navy Fighters. A 1994 3d engine has so slow texture mapping you'd nee...

Thank you for your reply. I have tried DOS running under various configurations and Windows 95 under the Award 430vx chipset. The one thing I noticed so far is choppy, stuttering sound. A sound will often be repeated, playing more than once. This happens no matter what OS I am running, and under th...
