Your execution speed for sound playback is dropping from about 1.0 to 0.15 MIPS, and recompiled speed correspondingly from 100 to 15 MIPS, just by your opening and closing of the config. I totally agree, Tom. Actually, I consider the audio stuttering upon slowdown to be a feature, not a bug.
