Re: Sound stutters whatever the configuration
alex_ncfc , good news , 486DX4 100MHz with voodoo1 using one thread in voodoo setting , runs Tomb rider II very well , on my 2.7Ghz even with voodoo1 without recompiler (cos is broken on lunux) i bet DX4 66 Mhz on V1 will run it as well, forget minimum spec for TR2, Voodoo is a powerfull thing. So Y...

Re: Sound stutters whatever the configuration
A.Naim , hi there, just to make it straight, voodoo 1 or 2 does NOT NEED 3 cores, it CAN USE 3 cores , but V1 will still work well on 2 cores, using only 1 for CPU and 1 for voodoo. alex_ncfc on Your i3 You should not even think of SLI emulation, especially at Your CPU speed. 486-100MHz and voodoo1 ...

I m Sorry Snowman, i didnt mean to offend You. Just the line "I can wait it's not a problem" sound a bit, like You are so merciful doing favour to Sarah, so THE KING can wait.
And at least try to compile, everyone will help You, only not me anymore.

Re: Problems with some Origin games
Snowman, You must understand that main releases does not come often, it might be 6 months or more, before v14 will come. Sarah is doing major rewrite of the code , and she does it only in her free time, so do not insist anymore on such things. If You really want , you can compile it Yourself. Like o...

Re: Sound stutters whatever the configuration
Hi there, Your CPU seems to be to weak for PCem, whenever You will not have 100% emulation speed, then sound will slutter. Ty 486 CPU at 66MHz and see if You have 100% emulation, and if it slutters, then there might be a problem. i have i5 running at turbo on 2.7 and trully 100% i got only p60 or p5...
Re: Linux
The problem is that floppy disk controller is broken on 430vx, and it does detect in bios but does not boot (broken). same if You install win 95/98 it might get stuck for a while at floppy detection, especially if You are trying manually install drivers and You chose source, then windows check flopp...

teppic "as was common for all machines from the pentium onwards until SATA replaced IDE" , on that i must disagree, in my opinion the most had 2 ports, like most of socket 7 motherboards and most slot one motherboards. i had plenty of them and one port was unusual, go to ebay, You got plen...

Re: Interstate '76 - Missing triangles
A.Naim , You got nice CPU but it wont anyway run at 3.4 if You are using all 4 cores, unfortunately boost speed shown is only valid if it runs on single core (bloody marketing), so on 4 i will be less. For example my I5 2410m on single core has a potential to run close to 2.9 but on 2 cores it can r...

Re: Interstate '76 - Missing triangles
Just quick question, are you sure You got 2.4 GHz laptop? it sounds to me as it is running at 3.2 minimum. What is the model? and CPU on it? I just think You really have no clue, how fast Your CPU is runing , and assuming You got I5,I7 then 2.4 will be the base frequency. I run 2.7 GHz I5 and 233 MH...

hmm.. "The only way to make 1:1 behavior is to open the chip and with a powerful microscope and/or camera capture every transistor" good idea, but there must be surely schematic to every chip, how to obtain it? they do exist and hopefully there is no big secret never to be released, as the...

Ahh, so there is no Mac version? hmm, thats explains the problem. how difficult would be to port the code for OS X? You even mention that in Your post, but the first i read was the one after that.

Re: v13 - Mouse Issues
Linux binary would be nice, but unfortunately linux that is not windows, and for example binary compiled on q4os (stretch) wont work on antiX 17 (also Stretch) and so on, the versions of libraries vary a bit in every version of Linux. 64bit windows will run 32bit binary, but it is not straight forwa...

Re: Issue with NFS III Hot Pursuit on Linux Host
Hm.. i was testing a 64 bit Linux version, and it is fault on the recompiler, there are known problems to it and 3d mark 99 does not work either. if you want to have it running, you must turn off recompiler on CPU and GPU as well, but sometimes its fine with only GPU off. Lower the CPU to 120mmx and...

i have now windows 10 64bit and v13 works much better than linux version, however the 3dMark99 work on voodoo only if cpu and gpu recompiler is off.
(using 430vx and i dont think changing board will make a difference)

Re: v13 released!
Great news, and it looks like it is much more stable in linux 64, but host CPU requirements rise about 20-30% and it is much slower, but overall it seems to work better. well i guess nothing for free and stability costs performance. The recompiler in voodoo broken, do not turns on or off and appears...

Re: Problems with Dynamic Recompiler in 64-bits Linux
Thank You.
BTW, 430vx accept 486DX4 cpu, and with recompiler it causes much less garbage than Pentium cpu's on 64bit Linux.
Edit: almost no problems with 486.

Re: Problems with Dynamic Recompiler in 64-bits Linux
Again me, it sound like i only complain, but 3dmark99 on 64bit linux Wx builds, using voodoo 1 or 2 crashes after 3 sec. of test , freezing PCem and display big mess on the screen, that is happening from some time now, so not just recently. it does the same using CPU or GPU without recompiler. also ...

I m not sure about, but i think i could run 98se on 64bit linux before, but now it crashes during boot. It's fine without recompiler, but knowing that there are problems i did install 32 bit lin...
