fyi neozeed - your tree didn't apply 358.patch properly. GPCMD_STOP_PLAY_SCAN is undeclared Yeah funny enough I just saw that. Not sure how it didn't get applied to the main branch but it's in the networking branch... I may just dump it all and keep the other separate since I obviously can't use so...

Re: Dynarec execution rate plummeting drastically at DOS pro
http://i.imgur.com/vJN8512.png You can totally idle @ 100%. The trick is to find a CPU level you can actually emulate. But MS-DOS has no 'idle' loop like NT or Linux. This is why laptops from back then either came with utilities to calm the CPU down which didn't start to appear until the 386SXL pro...

Nice, thanks neozeed. : ) It's the least I can do in these 'dark' times... I'm sure the main repository will be up soon enough. Now I kind of regret not doing a full pull at some point beforehand. Or worse I deleted all the build versions I'd downloaded a day before the server went offline. :x

A bit off topic, but my curiosity compels me to ask: neozeed, can you clarify what you meant here? How is PCem's memory map unlike that of a "real PC"? I've read that other thread you linked, but it's not really clear which part of it is supposed to be relevant to that comment. Well for o...

Arachne requires it's own packet driver which DVX will not provide to a DOS session. People have gotten Arachne working by using two NICs in a real machine with one dedicated to Arachne. Re: [current revisions] ATAPI/IDE handling bugs
So far, I have managed to find solutions to two issues: 1. Some software not detecting the CD-ROM - make PCem set the cylinder to 0xEB14 when the drive is selected by write to port 1F6 or 176; 2. LBA 1 freezing at second run with, say, VIDE-CDD.SYS - make PCem set CD Audio status to STOPPED on both...

Re: ati VGA Edge-16 test 800x600x16 colour mode failure
This appears to be a case of Windows programming some weird register to specify the SVGA display height that PCem doesn't take into account. It fails in MS-DOS too... so it's something about this ATI mode. I guess somewhere in vid_svga? No, it would be in the ATI-specific source file. Remember, eac...
