Re: Old Mac OSs on PCEM?
Sorry to go a bit off-topic, but do you happen to know if anyone has been taking any worthwhile steps forward lately with emulating pre-PPC Macs? Last I checked (a few years back), there weren't any projects going that could properly and fully emulate the Quadras etc. (or that even really aspired t...

Re: [Patch] CD-ROM model selection
Seems this has introduced a small bug. If you enter a emulated pc, it'll see the cdrom, but iy=f you go out and then go into another emulated pc, it won' see the cdrom, the only way to bypass is to close pcem completely between switching emulated machines. tested with commit git up to commit-063a40...

Re: Best machine settings for Q2Dos?
But i struggle make its working with PCem 15, first loading is taking 2-3 minutes and menu is very, very slow.. gameplay is good enough, but loading takes forever and there are also some disk related freezes.. Are you emulating a fast enough machine? I have it running on a emulated 486 with Pentium...

Re: Windows 7 error with dynarec enabled
I doubt Win 7 will work on any machine that PCem emulate. According to here it needs hardware way more powerful.

Re: Possible ES1371 emulation error
Yip something is wrong with Ensoniq AudioPCI (ES1371). On my Linux build I get that PCem crashes when I select that soundcard with: *** buffer overflow detected ***: ./pcem terminated edit that's with above emulated specs (made the same spec emuPC) Also happens on on one I use: Machine: win486 CPU: ...

Think with that spec PC, the lag is because of it.

AFAIK the Phar Lap 286-extender was propriety software that was sold by Phar Lap. So I doubt that there is any of that code in PCem.

Weird ram problem
Hi I'm compiling PCem on Kubuntu 18.04.02, and noticed with my self compiled version (commit 91640c0) that most systems from the 386 line and up have very restricted ram options. EG: 386 only having 16mb, 486 only having 64mb and the socket 7 cpu's only having 128mb ram. Is this a problem with my co...

@abk4523 I'm on Kernel: 4.15.0-50-generic x86_64.
You have to right click after starting the emulated machine. You can't currently select a floppy disk/CD before starting the machine

There is Slax: says 128mb needed for desktop use but 512mb for webbrowsing)
https://www.slax.org/
Also runs in PCem, but had to use Slax version 6.1.2
