Re: v16 compatibility & bug list (WIP)

for me is impossible in v16 exit fullscreen with CTRL+ALT+PAG-DOWN v14 and v15 exit fullscreen perfectly, in v16 I have to use ALT+TAB don't know why, if there is any log that I can provide I'll do it. I upgraded PCem from v15 to v16 by overwriting the older version in the same folder, the keyboard...

What is CANC?
Well, I'm in Windows 8.1 maybe that's something
An alternative to exit full screen is Alt+Tab

Re: How to connect a folder in PCem to my own Computer?

Just a heads-up... I had the same question - was looking for a quick way to transfer small file sets from host (Windows) to guest (PCem or 86box), so I came up with my own hackish solution. It requires a driver (ImDisk Virtual Disk) and doesn't take care of the other direction (guest→host), but it ...

Re: Nox Game (Westwood) Low Performance

By the year 2000 the average processor was the Pentium 3, so the emulated Pentium 1 was too outdated for that year.
You can try to run the game with the FIC motherboard and a K6-II or K6-3 but don't expect 100% emulation speed

I found a playthrough on YouTube recorded with a Voodoo3 Think there is your problem. PCem doesn't emulate a Voodoo3. And if I remember correctly, A vodoo3 is a lot more powerful and has more features than the voodoo2 I'm not sure about the features, but a Voodoo3 2000 has the same speed than a Voo...

Intel and AMD 486

In PCem does the Intel 486 work the same as the AMD one? Here is an interesting one: Duke Nukem 3D v1.3D (latest Shareware version) If I start the game with the Intel 486 it all seems like it crashed BUT whenever I changed the processor from the Intel 486/66 to the AMD 486/66 the game runs fine. htt...

I've been using a little http server application to copy files on both directions (server on host, IE on pcem). The http server is hfs. https://www.rejetto.com/hfs
Works great! Thanks for the share!

Ok, I got that much working and it compiled successfully. However, when I copy the relevant dlls to the same directory as the exe I get an error saying the application was unable to start correctly. I think I had the same problem. Look here: http://pcem-emulator.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

Re: v16 compatibility & bug list (WIP)

Hello. When testing PCem v15, the following bugs were discovered: 1. When you reboot the main PCem window, the window goes a little higher all the time (regardless of custom resolution), after which the menu buttons (System, Disk, CD-ROM, Casette, Video, Sound, Misc) are inaccessible. 2. Please add...

the video message length is a fix second duration? or is it depending on the processor speed? It appears the faster processor the less time the message is shown

null-modem emulation

Yesterday I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lke34tlJcTA and I wondered if something like this could be done with PCem A modern computer running PCem with a serial cable (serial dedicated cards are available in PCI and PCIe buses) connected to an older computer to play and share data (...
