Hi,
I've upgraded my PCem installation to V13 from V12, without reinstalling guest operating system. I've created new configuration in V13 setting every option same as I had in V12: 430VX, P166MMX, 32MB, ATI Graphics Pro Turbo (4 MB), Fast VLB/PCI, Voodoo 2 (4 MB, 4 MB, no SLI, no screen filter), one 4-button controller, etc.. I've attached already existing hard disk as C, it contains Windows 98 SE and some of my games and has been created in some older PCem version.
I've noticed performance degradation in Need For Speed 4 - same places where V12 had around 40 FPS, are now around 28 FPS. Performance loss is consistent during the race, so it is always around same percent. Level of details and drivers are exactly same. My host CPU usage not high enough to treat is as a cause. Emulation speed in all cases is constant 100%.
Please note that performance of Windows desktop and maybe not h/w accelerated games is better. I've tested various display options, V-Sync is off.
Was emulated Voodoo in V12 less accurate and faster? Maybe there's something I should install/remove from my guest system?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Edit: Trying V13.1 - same issue persists.
Some performance changes after upgrading to V13
Re: Some performance changes after upgrading to V13
Earlier Pentium timing was too fast. The P166MMX performed more like a P2 300 earlier (and it shouldn't have)

Yeah, Pentium timing was adjusted to make it more accurate.

Ok, so I will try Pentium 200 to offset this fix. Thanks!
