Noticed the last commit and wanted to try that out immediately.
When ET4000AX is used in a MegaPC it'll be slow in many games (i.e. Major Stryker). Doesn't affect AMI386 in the same way. Built-in video (VGA) is fine.
Real behavior?
DISCLAIMER: I'm only using the MegaPC for the working Phoenix 386SX bios and resembling rather close to the other local 386s I used to use in '91-93. We never got MegaPCs in the 'states as Amstrad barely did much business here. I'm also only using ET4000AX as it's the closest to a ET3000 PCem currently emulates.

Re: MegaPC Tseng slowness
Fixed in rev 1079. I had thought the MegaPC automatically disabled the onboard video, but apparently not.
