CDROM speen undetectable Star Trek A Final Unity Installer

When running the installer for star trek unity it cannot detect the cdrom drive speed. I know it a vitual cdrom I am using but it should at least show some kind of transfer rate. I am unable to install the game.

Works here.
You should try: running the game in MS-DOS 5 to 6.22 (you are in 7.0). Or mounting and image in PCem and not using a host unit

I tried it with dos 6.22 and an mounting the cdrom with pcem. Still have the same issue. I also tried a different machine type and it does the same thing.

Hmm maybe you have a corrupted image? Did you download it from somewhere, or you made it? (image)

I got it to work. I loaded smartdrv before mscdex.
