Floppies don't boot on PS/1 2011

1.44MB floppies don't boot at all on PS/1 2011. Either in IBM DOS of the ROM DOS section.

Thank you for reporting this. I've also reported that the floppies don't work at all on the PS/1 Model 2121 as well.

(I couldn't see what happened, because my router dropped my connection overnight and I had to reset it.)

Seems to work okay here. Have you actually configured the system to boot from floppy in CUSTOMIZ.EXE? The PS/1 2011 will default to booting straight from ROM.

As far as I know, if I try to boot from a floppy disk by selecting drive A from the disk to read from, it will throw a "General Failure reading drive A" error. Drive B works though.

If I select to boot from drive C instead of drive A, then the PS/1 Model 2011 and 2121 will ready the floppy images.

The problem is floppies will not boot at all when trying to install DOS from drive A on the PS/1. A temporary workaround would be to use the release version of PCem 13.1, where booting from floppies on the PS/1 does work.

Can you provide the configuration you're using please? As I said above, this works fine for me.

It used to work fine without needing customiz.exe, now it no longer does.
