I put the file ide_xt.bin on rom folders, but Pcem not recognized a hard drive on a IBM XT 8088 4.77

how can i use hdd on ibm xt rom machine?

With "roms folder" do you mean one copy on each machine subfolder like c:\pcem\roms\ibmxt\ide_xt.bin and so on?
Try to copy it directly to roms subfolder like c:\pcem\roms\ide_xt.bin to make it available for all machines because it's compatible with many models.

Thanks for help. I was using a wrong version of ide_xt.bin. now works fine
