hi, any chance to enable networking in 8088/8086 in V15?

I tested in Vtech laser turbo & XT3, DOS 5.0
1) ms client 3.0 ne1000 driver load, but no connection is made (tested with ipx and netbeui)
2) ms client 3.0 ne2000 driver, system freeze
3) netware client 4 ne1000 driver with "board ram test fail" error
4) netware client 4 ne2000 driver with "board ram test fail" error
5) lan manager client 2.2 load ne1000 driver no binding
6) lan manager client 2.2 load ne2000 driver no binding
no luck.

Probably you want TCP/IP, for either WATTCP or mTCP network stacks.
Then you need the correct packet driver, which depends on the network card you have (with real hardware).
If you really have a NE2000-compatible network card (with real hardware), or with PCem:
Don't forget to take the 8bit version of ne2000.com!
The 16bit version will not work (e.g. freeze).

the ne2000 packet driver for 8 bit is very nice, mtcp run fine in PCEM!
exists something like that for ndis or dosodi?
