PCEM for Ubuntu start problem

Post by MortalThing »

Hi , you can help me

I have problem with configure roms for ubuntu

I compiled Pcem for Linux it is OK , when i run pcem i have this alert

/home/msi/Stažené/pcem# ./pcem
No ROMs present!
AL lib: FreeContext: (0x414df80) Deleting 2 Source(s)
You must have at least one romset to use PCem.

How i use set rom?

I copied the BIOS file to a directory that is not the problem
bin files got there

My solution here:

When i create new folder name "PCEM" in root system and i compiled that all OK.

Both targets include directory "ROMS" with all bios files and directory has about 6 megabyte.
1.
/pcem# ./pcem -> it is OK

2.
My problem is folder "/Stažené/" problem with my country " ž " " é " (accents)

/home/msi/Stažené/pcem# ./pcem -> problem with "No ROMs present!"

In my country Stažené = Downloads.

Hopefully it will help someone to solve the same problem.

thx

Create a ROM folder and place roms.
some ROMs are available here: http://pcem-emulator.co.uk/downloads.html
