Greetings! Any thoughts on adding modem emulation?

Hi!

I'm really excited about this project. I'm really really excited. I can't wait to have a fully emulated hardware DOS system like you guys have been building. I ended up finding this because I was trying to run some BBS software in DOSBox and it was complaining about some incompatibility. So I do look forward to just having a fully emulated classic system instead of emulating only the things that are compatible with games.

Do you guys have a roadmap for features/hardware you are looking to implement? I'm curious where modem functionality would fall into that.

I was thinking of whipping up some modem emulation myself, but that's in the far future. I have plenty of patches left to submit to Sarah after v11 releases (and by the time those have gotten into the mainline, I might have piled up more patches ) and then we'll see what I can come up with.
Now I don't know Sarah has her own plans for modem emulation, at least I've never hard of such, though if she does, then she might be able to do ti before me.
