[Crash] Requiem: Avenging Angel, 3dfx

Postby vorob » Wed 03 Aug, 2016 9:23 pm

Hello, like I've mentioned in my another thread (http://goo.gl/qwsIdo) i had no problems so far, but this game work bad and even crash the emulator.

PCem settings: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5020311/pcem.cfg
pclog.txt consists of only one line: Unknown texture format 9

My rig:

Code: Select all

Lenovo ideapad Y580
Intel Core i7-3610QM (2.3Ghz - 3.3Ghz) (4 cores / 8 threads) (http://goo.gl/JqP3E7)
Nvidia Optimus:
 - Intel HD 4000 (http://goo.gl/swtRgP)
 - Nvidia GeForce 660m (http://goo.gl/4H21OM)
8Gb DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800 (2х HMT351S6CFR8C-PB)
Windows 10 x64
Intel driver - 10.18.10.4358
Nvidia driver - 368.81

So, first of all Requiem works not like it should do, it doesnt render lightning, take a look at proper gameplay: https://youtu.be/DBnm4ed9nSw?t=1m1s

And now look at my gameplay: https://youtu.be/JRtcfsP32ww

No shadows. And when i'm exiting starting room PCem crashes.

Any idea?

Wow, nice job!
When do you think we can have the next official PCem release?

Can't give us a half or even better a quarter it might appear? No need to really mostly joking with you but a year is a long amount of time to plan for something being released. I guess I will just tell myself be ready for it coming out on 12/31/17 and anything sooner will be a pleasant surprise.

Q1 maybe? Don't hold me to that though - PCem is hardly developed to a schedule.

Maybe Battler or any programmer with skills to compile PCem could make unofficial compilations maybe each 2 or 3 months any upload them somewhere
Any volunteer?

I've requested many times that I don't want to see development builds made available.
