Hard drive not persistent
Hard drive is wiped on every hard reset or when pcem is terminated. Only stays intact on ctrl-alt-del. Is there an option or something I missed when I set up my machine? Do I need an ide controller rom?

This isn't something I've seen before. Can you post the contents of pcem.cfg?

Oddly, there doesn't seem to be a pcem.cfg. I just booted it up now and it is booting into dos. It wouldn't do that before, even today, and I haven't done anything different. I'm not quite sure how my problem resolved itself.

Re: Hard drive not persistent
So I re-installed and reconfigured. It created the cfg this time. I think my problem has something to do with a cd reading as mounted when it's not. The computer tries to boot from it and doesn't like that. Then the funny thing happens where it decides the hard drive is empty. I can't reliably recreate it every time. I'm gonna say solved, and post my cfg when I am at the computer maybe?
