Here you go:

1. https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/80486/486dx-20
2. https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/80486/486sx2-66

Unfortunately, I cannot find any photos of what the 20 MHz 80486 and 66 MHz 80486 SX2 look like although they do exist.

Yeah, that's not really solid evidence that they exist. They may have been announced, but that doesn't mean they were ever actually available to buy.

DX20DPR66 did exist as 486 overdrive but actual clock speed is 66 Mhz: http://www.cpu-museum.de/?m=intel&f=overdrive+cpus

Edit: beaten on the 486SX2 :( but to be fair, that's an engineering sample. It doesn't mean that they were specifically sold as retail.

However, for the 486DX/20 I couldn't find any picture proof. The lowest 486DX I could find was a 25mhz part so maybe this was a weird overdrive CPU?

Interesting that that 486SX2/66 is an engineering sample, and that it's the only Intel SX2/66 on that site. Doesn't really suggest a wide release to me.

I tried to find the photos on Google, but there were none available.

There was a commercial i486SX2-66, but I guess it was never widespread. Compaq used it in one of their Presarios: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fvv77yhUrVA
Check 11:00 where he shows the BIOS setup.

And there were people who had trouble using certain stuff due to a missing FPU: http://damnsmalllinux.org/static/act-ST/f-5/t-5570.html

Afaik Intel just had crippled down 486DX2-66s to max their yield.

Thank you for providing a video of a commercial for the Intel 486SX2-66 processor even though it was never popular.

Maybe support for the i486SX2-66 MHz processor configuration might be added after all. :)

Just at the minute 11:00 it shows the 486 SX2@66, but how do we know for sure it was made by INTEL and not AMD?

Edit: as a matter of fact, if you Google Images "Presario CDS520" you will find this: http://mail.lipsia.de/~enigma/neu/pics/486SX2-66.jpg.

AMD 486SX2-66
Year of manufacture: 1994
no FPU included
This is a cheap 486 CPU for desktop applications that do not use the FPU.
It was used in the Compaq Presario CDS520.

Thanks for pointing that out. Strange. I can remember having seen a non-ES i486SX2-66 in at least one of those.
