[Request] Intelligent MIDI interface (MPU-401 or compatible)

I want PCem emulate MIDI Interface without SB MIDI (or with SB MIDI for using 2 port, use different base address and IRQ between)

I need MPU-401 Intelligent Mode in PCem, and use IRQ to 2 or 9, use base address to 330h and 300h, some games support MIDI but so difficult to play music. (eg. Princess Maker 2 and Hardball 3)

I know these MIDI Interface's lists.
- Roland MPU-IPC
- Roland S-MPU/AT
- Music Quest MQX-32M

Thanks!

I found another MIDI cards,
- Voyetra V-400x / OP-400x
- Music Quest PC MIDI Card (IH9MQ9)

Voyetra uses Roland chip, fully compatible.
Music Quest PC MIDI Card with rom version 010 can support all games maybe.

These games need test,
- Princess Maker 2
- Hardball 3
- Gateway 1, 2
- Wing Commander 1, 2
- Laser Squad
- Space Quest 3

More information about Music Quest PC MIDI Card, See here.

I second this request, also because the Windows NT Sound Blaster 16 drivers of both NT 3.51 and NT 4.0 seem to need this as well (right now they complain about MPU-401 not present on the selected port), and being a great fan of Princess Maker 2, I find it really unfortunate that it appears not to work on PCem. :(

Thirded - I'd like to play MT32 games without having to use SoftMPU, which by the way doesn't even work under 286 or lower.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I would like to add my voice to this feature request also. A native MPU-401 option would make life much easier when setting up games that don't work with the SB PORT. SoftMPU can be dreadfully slow.
