I'm trying to run bleem! 1.5 (I like running old inaccurate emulators to experience the history of emulation for myself), and every time I try to open it, I get a BSOD. I have tested in V12 and the latest dev release (as of 2017-06-26), and the results are very consistent. I am running it under Windows 98 SE.
I know running bleem! is completely pointless, but I'm reporting this more for the general accuracy of PCem.

ATAPI emulation at this point doesn't make any early W9X ASPI-driven PSX emulator happy. The farthest you'll get in any PSX emulation in PCem is launching the debugger on the bios in PSEmu Pro.

Also happens when I try loading the game with Daemon Tools inside the OS (and disabling the CD drive completely in PCem).leilei wrote:ATAPI emulation at this point doesn't make any early W9X ASPI-driven PSX emulator happy. Is there a way to get it to work? If all else fails, I'll just use my K6-2 rig for it.

Does pclog.txt reveal something useful?
