OS/2 2.x reporting 287 math processor on 386+ models

Post by SA1988 »

Plus installation that doesn't go nicely after the first stage.
Affected versions: OS/2 2.0, 2.1, 2.11 (even with SPs).

As of the latest release, this happens (installed from VBox, running on PCem to overcome the aforementioned install bug).

Then this:

This happens on all models with 386 and higher CPUs, SVGA card used is ET4000AX, Sound disabled, cache set to "A bit" ("A lot" was also set before) and on both interpreter and dynamic codes.

Is this a bug that was present in v9, or has it been introduced more recently?

Is the FPU even emulated on the 386? Last time I checked it was 486 (DX obviously) and higher only.
