Hey, I didn't see it mentioned (other than a old failure of the DOS version), but I've successfully been playing FIFA 98 under PCem, Windows 98, and 3dFX with SLI.
This is the one that had the "Blur - Song 2" theme on startup.

I use a Pentum MMX 166 configuration with the AWARD 430VX ROM under a Core i7 6700.

There are only a few slowdowns on match statistics and on control (keyb/mouse) selection. Not sure why, or if they are the game's fault.

Also, with SLI, the game startup has a small glitch, which is nevertheless also present when going to the windows 3dfX control panel configuration, so it's probably the switching on of the card.

Hi,

I tried PickUp Express with Voodoo 1 and also with Voodoo 2

Textures are funky.

Attached a screenshot.

PickUp Express with PCem v14, S3 Virge/DX, Award 430VX PCI, MMX 120, 128MB RAM, Voodoo 1 and driver 2.14 works but it's really slow and the arrow is white instead of green.

File: d3rtvg.exe
Contents: 3Dfx generic Voodoo drivers.
Version: 2.14
Date: 6 Dec 97

Edit: Same with Voodoo 2 (latest driver)

NASCAR Racing 2 + Grand National Series Expansion Pack shows glitches, especially visible whenever dirt / smoke are present. Regular NASCAR Racing 2 will probably have them, I'll check later. Game is running under guest Pentium 166, S3 ViRGE DX, 64 Mb RAM and DOS 6.22.

EDIT: Same problem in "NASCAR Racing 2", although for NR2-3Dfx to start under PCem I've had to copy a GLIDE2X.OVL file I got from VOGONS to the game folder. I think it belongs to the 3Dfx version of Carmageddon. Without it, NR2 says it can't load a DLL.

I know this is a couple of months old, but I just so happened to come across the last post. I suggest trying out NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition. It's literally the same thing as NASCAR 2, but with the expansion and base game combined, and updated cars. Otherwise, it's the same exact game. It runs perfectly on multiple setups that I've tried.

Could anyone test Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now and Carmageddon TDR2000 and give me a screenshot? I love those games.

I'm not at my PC at the moment but Carma2 worked fine, and I tried the TDR2000 demo, and that worked fine as well.
