[Suggestion] Bernoulli Box and Tape Drives

Post by ppgrainbow »

Would it be possible to add support to emulate the Iomega Bermoulli Box (SCSI only) and support for tape drives (IDE and SCSI)?

If you look on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernoulli_Box

The Bermoulli Box was Iomega's first widely known product released in 1982...about 12 years before the release of the ZIP drive. The original Bernoulli Box came in 5 MB, 10 MB and 20 MB capacities. The Bermoulli Box II came in 20 MB, 35 MB, 44 MB, 65 MB, 90 MB (in the late 1980s), 105 MB, 150 MB and in 1993, 230 MB capacities.

And I would like to see support for IDE and SCSI tape drives too! Tape drives are useful for backing up devices via a tape cartridge instead of a floppy disk image, which can be a huge hassle. MS-DOS 6 and Norton Backup has support for backing up devices to a tape drive and some of the backup utilities that rely on tape drives will not work without it. :p

What do you think? :D
