Slackware 1.01 does not work

Slackware 1.01 does not work

I'm trying to boot first kernel floppy disk of Slackware 1.01 but it does not work. I try in a old pc and works file. I think it can be a CPU problem. Can someone give me a light about that?

What's your PCem configuration?

any system i use. 286, 386, 486, Pentium. it does not read the boot kernel disk.

i'm assuming you have the file named "a1disk", right?
