Lotus 1-2-3 Division overflow on IBM XT

Lotus 1-2-3


* What the effect of the bug was (ie more than "doesn't work")
I am unable to start Lotus 1-2-3. The program displays Division overflow

* Description of the error, if any
I installed 1-2-3 on an IBM XT hardrive. I start Lotus.com then I select 1-2-3. I see the Division overflow error on the screen.
I use DOS 2.1

* What software was running on the emulator at the time
Lotus 1-2-3 1.0
* What OS was running on the emulator at the time
IBM DOS 2.10
* What configuration was being used in the emulator
IBM PC XT- 8088@4.77 MHz - 128K RAM - 2x 360K Floppy - Hercules - 10 MB HDD

* Whether the dynamic recompiler was being used
No

Copy protection maybe? Not sure.

Thank you Sir, I was not aware of this. Unfortunately the fix did not work. It is possible that I screwed up the install, I will try again. The other thing I can think of that this is related to the CPU bug I experienced with Flight Simulator.

Not sure if this will help. http://cd.textfiles.com/bthevhell/500/488/123a.unp . AFAIK Ver1.0A had copy protection, and you need to patch the exe for it to run on hard-drive
