I was wondering if it's possible to select a folder in the host hard disk in the HDD Config instead of an image file to make file sharing from host to PCem much simpler and quicker.
Not now of course that PCem is feature frozen I know, but in a future release

+1. That's the main reason why I can't wait for networking to be released in this version. If the hard drive maps straight to a folder then problem sorted.
Networking just seems the easier route now what with all the sector mapping etc. that will have to happen vs already established disk image

This has been asked before : viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29&p=601. My answer hasn't changed I'm afraid.

VenoMpie's idea sounds promising! Hope it works

Why not just open the image file, drag the folder in there, and save it. Works for me.
