Being new to this app I was wondering , do you have a simple persons setup guide please you can share with me and confirm where to get hold of all the relevent software.
Im trying to setup an IBM PC with a basic Hercules or CGA graphics card.
Run QB 4.0 and a small application that was written many years ago that used screen locations when running. Ive tried running QB 4.0 on a faster machine which works but the app crashes I believe because of the screen.
I watched YouTube and relies I need a dos boot disk but im not sure where or how to connect this and also format a harddrive etc.
Any support and advice will be greatly received for some one lacking these days in computer software.

Hi everyone, all sorted , now up and running although a steep uphill learning curve.
Using V14 helped allot, as you can see if the sw is reading from the disk , secondly trying to run such old units , make sure you use the correct dos version [ not 3.0 or 3.3 etc , but IBM version dos or MS Dos]
