[Solved] Auto-Hide crashes the emulator

Post by MiraiMiracle »

Hi there.

I streamed The PFA48 LiveStream Show episode 13, and I used PCem version 14 before I moved to version 15.

While I was streaming, I just found a crash bug. I checked auto-hide for the taskbar, and when I click OK, the program instant crashes with memory access violation (0xc0000005).
The fault module is PCem.exe.

I can't post config and .nvr file here, because I removed v14 and installed v15.
PCem.exe has stopped working (off-screen here) (PCem version 14)

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
1. Start up your Windows 98.
2. Right click on the mouse on the taskbar. Then click Properties.
3. Check Auto hide, and click OK.
4. PCem crash!

If you can't reproduce this, tell me!

EDIT (April 12, 2020): Tried to use auto-hide feature on the taskbar on PCem version 15, and it works!:

Version 15 fixes a crash bug, but can you use version 14 to reproduce this?

Whether an older version has a bug is irrelevant if it's been fixed in a new release.

Especially here because V15 made so many major improvements there's no reason to use V14 anymore.
