When changing CPU frequency, Mach64 SVGA display messes up while S3 Trio family is still normal.

update: Happens in Mach64 32-bit color mode only and previous reversions also have this issue

Uh oh! That doesn't sound too good. I sure hope that the display corruption issue gets fixed soon.

Update: not only changing CPU frequency, even closing PCem config window by clicking "ok"(with nothing changed) messes the display up.

Seems to be a bug with the Mach64 emulation. And not the only one. If you look back enough on this forum, you'll see threads about the DOS prompt in a window on Windows 9x causing awful render issues on the Mach64.

I can confirm this when running 98SE in PCem.

CPU: Pentium Overdrive 83/Am5x86 P75/Cx5x86 133.
RAM: 64 MB
GPU: Mach64.

I can confirm this when I'm even running MS-DOS 6.22 when I switched from the Number Nine FX to the ATI Graphics Turbo Pro with 4 MB VRAM on the Award SiS 496/497 machine.

When I try to install the Mach64 drivers under MS-DOS, the setup is unable to initalise the EEPROM and PCen crashes with the following error found in the pc.log file:
Bad getpccache 000BABD0
Let's hope that this bug in the Mach64 SVGA driver gets fixed! I don't know if I can reproduce this error when I attempt to install the VBE driver as well.
