v17 feature freeze at end of Saturday 14th of November

Post by SarahWalker »

Feature freezing for v17 at the end of Saturday the 14th of November. Any feature patches in before that point will be considered for v17, any submitted after will have to wait for v18. Bug fixes are always welcome of course!

Yeah!! The Banshee is on the way! Maybe should I remove or transfer the version 16 files to version 17?

Would you consider making an official Pi executable from v17 onward?

I think that's more of a matter for downstream... most open source projects out there don't have specialized linux binaries provided by themselves, and again, it's not difficult to compile PCem on the Pi. It's not like it's MAME where you'd need to crosscompile on a modern machine. I'm sure that fish-teaching idiom applies, as a brief Pi compilation guide would be better than a binary.

Now frozen. I'll work through the existing backlog of patches and will probably create the testing thread in the next day or so.
