I have a weird problems where my pcem v16 machines wont boot up anymore.
The window stretches in weird way with bare minimum height and the screen are just black. No output, regardless of the rendering mode or window size. Some machines beepes one millisecond and then makes a weird noise - which sounds like a error tone. If i change the system up to a different mainboard type, it may work but eventually this mainboard type crashes too and i cant emulate anymore.
What can i do to find out what is wrong (log file?).

All I can suggest is if you're using a Cyrix CPU on Intel boards, change that to a Pentium before you use the new version as they are no longer supported there.

I didnt have a single cyrix cpu setup - only intel or amd.
Also i didn´t upgrade to newer version, i was starting out with pcem v16 and made completely new systems - which worked for a while...
But it looks like, when it crashes it totally corrupts the cache/bios or something... and i never can create a system with the same setup again.

I remember having similar issues from time to time in the past.
Usually I would solve them by refreshing the nvr directory: delete it's contents, download a fresh copy of pcem (same version as what you already use) and restore the nvr files from that.
