I'm trying to use a different CDROM file than /dev/cdrom. It appears that PCEM supports this, but I can't get it to work. Things I tried:
1. selecting it through the GUI
2. changing cdrom_path in pcem.cfg manually
It keeps using /dev/cdrom however.
What's the recommended way to use different CDROM files with PCEM?

Re: Choosing a CDROM file
It's currently hardwired to /dev/cdrom I'm afraid.
Re: Choosing a CDROM file
Ah, I indeed found it in the source code! I just did a find&replace there, that did the trick for my test
Btw. I can confirm that PCEM's Trident emulation is further than DOSEMU's. The 15-bit and 16-bit modes work as well (they don't in DOSEMU). Only the 800x600x16 mode appears to have odd colors (I don't know if that's due the win31 driver or the emulation though).

If there isn't /dev/cdrom, create a symbol link toward the cdrom drive.
Re: Choosing a CDROM file
/dev/cdrom already points to my physical drive. I needed to use an image file through cdemu though which ended up on /dev/sr1. Maybe I'll manage to whip up a patch if I need more, but for now I can continue.
