Hardware Donation?

Post by darksabre76 »

Hey all. There's a guy I know who has an older Windows 98 computer with a dead PSU but otherwise working cards and he wanted to know if any developers would like this hardware to do either testing or implementation. Here is his full description:
I have a Windows 98 PC that I rescued from the trash recently. The PSU died on me, and I'm going to get rid of it. However, it has a PCI Sound Blaster and a S3 Virge/VX that might still work. The Sound Blaster is a CT4790, so a PCI 512. It also has a Kingston network card (KNE111TX). The CPU is a Pentium Pro 200. 8The motherboard doesn't accept HDDs higher than 8GB without custom software.
He's looking to join the forum himself, but he asked me to ask in the mean time. Thanks in advance :)
