I already asked in the General part how to add external ROMs. Zup answered that for the moment it is only possible to install XT-IDE. His idea: rename my ROM to the XT-IDE one.
Where do I need it for? I want to test and tweak Sergey Malinov's (Xi8088) Floppy-BIOS. If it works out allright, I want to test it in combination with XT-IDE. And THAT is not possible now, AFAIK.
How could it be done? If I may suggest: by just placing "ide_xt.bin" in the "roms" directory, PCem knows XT-IDE is present. What about "ExtRom_xxxx.bin" where "xxxx" is the segment, like "CC00"?
Thank you very much in advance!
