npcap and winpcap don't officially support WiFi connectivity which is a bummer since I use PCEM on my laptop. I also have VMWare Workstation installed on my laptop and it supports WiFi for all of my virtual machines, so out of curiosity I decided to see if the network connection that gets installed with VMWare would also work with PCEM and allow me to have a Host Configuration that supports WiFi connections. I'm pleased to report that it works fine and that DHCP is also working just fine. If you have VMWare installed on your system, open PCEM and click on the Host Config icon. In the drop-down menu, select the VMWare Network Adatper. On my system, it's adapter VMNET8. That's it. You should now be able to use PCEM with npcap/winpcap and WiFi....no more CAT5 cables needed.
