[BUG] Running Solaris 2.6 with the Matrox Mystique causes PCem to crash

Post by win2kgamer » Tue 17 Mar, 2020 2:58 am

In PCem-dev commit 6bd1c70, attempting to run Solaris 2.6 when using the Matrox Mystique graphics card causes PCem to crash and write this line to PCem.log:
Write MGA accel control 00001c18 00

The crash occurs right after the video mode switches from VGA text mode (configuration assistant) to the 1024x768 70hz mode used by X11.

Machine configuration:
Machine: [Socket 7] Shuttle HOT-557
CPU: Intel Pentium/166
Memory: 64MB
Video: Matrox Mystique
HDD: 4GB IDE
FDD: 3.5" 1.44M
Mouse: 2-button PS/2

Tried an Advanced/ZP config? Mystique's only currently working (on Windows) with that particular motherboard at this moment.
