Midi Issue in Quest for Glory 4 + popping sounds ?
Ok, i have a rather specific issue. First of all thanks for an awesome emulator ! A few years back i requested native midi output and after a few tries it seemed to work perfectly. Now in the latest few versions (15/16) i have a midi issue that is not present in for instance dosbox. (dosbox-x / dosb...

Re: original resolution output?

Re: original resolution output?
No one has an idea ? Is what i ask just plain impossible (needs rewrite of the entire application or something like that ?) or is there just no demand for it ? to be clear I DO USE A FLATSCREEN but i also still have an old CRT monitor and for dos programs and games it gives a far better and clearer ...

original resolution output?
First, V10 is fantastic, thanks for the hard work. Is it possible the original resolution? If I force full screen it will scale to my desktop resolution, but is it possible to have the original resolution when you are in fullscreen? I have an old crt but it looks horrible since the monitor doesn't r...

Re: v10 rough timetable
Hello would it be possible to implement a way to select to what midi mapper you want to send the output ? In windows 8 and 10 the default windows mapper is always used unless you specify to what mapper you want to send it (for example to output to real midi modules) In windows you could change the d...

Re: Problem changing cd's
I use the standard version 9 from the site and the one you provided with the sysex patch.
Both have the same problem.
I use dos 6.22 and daemon tools lite (latest).
By freaking out I ment pcem just hangs after I loaded a new iso.
I'll try another iso loader then.

Problem changing cd's
I love the fact that i can use the images of my original cd's or the images of the GOG games i bought. But there is something that i don't understand. When i load an image with daemon tools and then point pcem to my virtual drive everything works when i boot. But when i eject that CD and try to load...

Re: Add more than 2 Hard Drives ?
Well yes technically i can create a maximum drive of 8GB and then partition it to 2GB partitions.
Thats all dos 6.22 seems to support.
Or is there another way ?

Add more than 2 Hard Drives ?
Hello, Since i'm using Dos 6.22 and thus fat16 my disks fill up way too fast (2GB max). So i added a second disk ... but some games take +- 500 MB like Quest for Glory 4 Is there a way to add 4 drives ? (primary master/slave, secondary master/slave) The bios supports it but pcem does not seem to all...

Re: PCEm and Real MT-32
Does this attachement now mean that this is the "latest" version or is this the base version 9 with a modified base version 9 exe file ?
I can't thank you enough for all the hard work you put into this since i suppose this is not your (paying) job.
What motivated you to make this ?

Re: PCEm and Real MT-32
You are fantastic. I tried a few games and everything seems to play back perfectly. Monkey Island 2 had all the correct instruments and sound effects Legend of Kyrandia sounded perfect and the custom sound effects eem to work. Even the ocean waves sounds play like they should. With the use of SOFTMP...

Re: PCEm and Real MT-32
Ok tried to test it on a clean V9 installation off your website. I copied all the files/directories from the "roms" directory into my new install so the roms directory is a direct copy of my existing working copy. The normal PCEM.EXE sees everything fine and i can start the program with al...

Re: PCEm and Real MT-32
Sure i'm willing to test a patch as long as it does not fry my midi modules lol.
I must warn you i have no knowledge how to compile pcem, but i can test it on the actual release and not a dynarec one.
Let me know how you wish to proceed with your test

PCEm and Real MT-32
Lo everyone and first a big thank you for this awesome piece of software. I adored PC gaming when i was little and i still do, but nothing gives me that thrill like a good old pc running dos, and your program allows me to do so without assembling a vintage computer myself. (I have no room for it :( ...
