Go with the Diamond Stealth 32, the Mach64 or any standard VGA card that doesn't have 3D features so it won't mess with the Voodoo

I'm trying to define a new model in model.c but the Intel Southbride PIIX3 is in slot 07h which I think is uncommon. Should I modify one of the lines here? or is it pci.c? void at_brio_init() { at_init(); pci_init(PCI_CONFIG_TYPE_1); pci_slot(0x11); pci_slot(0x12); pci_slot(0x13); pci_slot(0x14); i4...

Thank you for the quick reply Sarah!
I'm currently looking and trying to understand "pc87306.c" - I noticed that all entries with pclog are commented with a double slash. Did you forget to remove those comments? Because they are not compiled and that logging is very useful

Thanks for testing! I found another bug:

When I toggle fullscreen (Ctrl+ALT+Page down) and go back to window mode again, I can't activate the menu in sam and max (F1) anymore. Can you replicate this behaviour, too?
Try using different renders: eg. OpenGL, Direct3D, etc

I'm trying to add a new computer - IBM 300GL model 6282 - It has the 430VX chipset (already emulated) and the PC87307 Super I/O (only the PC87306 has been coded) I tried to compile the new model using the PC87306 Super I/O but doesn't work. Official pcem is not compiled with MSYS2. it is compiled with the other mingw and not using the exact same versions of the dependencies.
You need to use the dlls that are in msys2.

The Virge/DX is ok, it really doesn't matter for games as they switch to the Voodoo
As for the FIC mobo make sure you have the BIOS in the correct ROM folder

Try to configure the FIC motherboard with a K6-III @ 400 with a Voodoo2 SLI and 128 or 256 MB RAM
All the games you mention should work OK with the exception of Max Payne that I think needs more powerful hardware

Re: Weird ram problem

Like Sarah said, PCem tries to emulate real behavior of the emulated hardware, but for instance in the 386DX AMI clone you can selected up to 256 MB RAM - that is possible with very uncommon RAM sticks and expansion adapters
