Re: PCem icon?
I threw it out there incase any newbies like myself wanted to do it but did not know how. I'm sure Sarah has better things to worry about other than this issue.

Re: PCem icon?
I just found this for Windows:
https://www.wikihow.com/Change-the-Icon-for-an-Exe-File
I gave it a cursory try, it seems to work.

Re: requests
If you are taking requests, can you play "Hysteria" by Def Leppard please? I haven't heard that one in years.
Re: PCem Logo
Is this the logo you mean? It would be cool.

Re: Question about copy protection in dos games
They aren't found on websites. They're found with your games, physically. Not always :D. Over half of my games no longer have their manuals, as they got lost in the annuals of time. but then I have manuals for games I no longer have Interesting story: I bought one of the Forgotten Realms releases o...

Mouse problems in v15
I am emulating an Acer 386sx25n with dos 6.22 and have an issue with the mouse. One of my games is telling me I need a Microsoft compatible mouse to run. I have tried the Microsoft ps/2 and Microsoft Intellimouse options with no luck. Any ideas, or am I out of luck? Thanks.

It worked, but on a 386 with 512k(?) memory as opposed to 640 on a 286. Possible memory constraints. Thanks.

Adding cd support to dos 6.22
I have dos 6.22 running on an AMI 286 clone and am trying to add cd rom support. I downloaded the oakcdrom.sys driver and copied it to the root of my c: drive but cannot remember how to edit the autoexec.bat and config.sys files to load the drive. Does anyone remember? Also, does it matter the drive...

You can download Windows 2000 from Winworldpc.com if it helps. Do you have to have Win9x or are you challenging yourself?

PCem and Intel vs AMD processors
I am looking into replacing my laptop and was wondering if there was a difference in performance between Intel and AMD chips with PCem. I am partial to AMD but will consider Intel if they are faster, more reliable or perform better with PCem. What are your thoughts?

Is it possible to boot a guest from usb?
This is probably just my misunderstanding of the hardware. I have an atapi drive from an old laptop and am trying to use it with PCem. I use an atapi ide to usb adaptor to connect it to my laptop. I tried a pentium overdrive mmx 200 bios and looked for a boot from usb option but could not find one. ...

Re: Is it possible to remap keys in PCem?
There is no end key on the keyboard, the manufacturer left it off to save space. The right cursor key may be the end key. It's hard to read. If it is, would I need to press the fn key to activate? [edit} That's it. Nevermind, although it may be useful to remap keys.

Is it possible to remap keys in PCem?
I think I am in a unique situation. I can install PCem and run it on a notebook, but there is no end key. Thus when PCem is capturing the keyboard input, I cannot press "control end" to release and return to the host. I can borrow a suitable keyboard but it would be inconvenient to bring t...

Re: Linux Users: Any good roms out there?
Perhaps I worded my inquiry improperly, sorry. I was wondering if anyone else had any success. As to the roms affecting the sound, I found one or two threads suggesting trying different roms. I have an asus x401u laptop with an AMD® Brazos 2.0 Platform Processor. I notice the cpu execution is usuall...

Linux Users: Any good roms out there?
I've been trying to configure PCem v15 on Fedora 30 and running into some issues. I keep getting stuttering sound when installing Windows 98 SE. I have tried several roms but have not found any satisfactory. Has anyone found a rom with good sound quality? Or is this an issue unique to Linux?

Looks like it was the boot disk. Win98 does not have the format command.
