Guys, before this issue PCem had buffer 4800 words (9600 bytes) and the lag was noticable, Sarah reduced that qiute a bit , to 1200 words (2400 bytes) and the lag was gone but fluttering appear out of nowhere, i did play with something i have no clue about and i make 1600 words (3200bytes) so slight...

I have made myself the last repo with P50 and buffer 32000/20 and it works like a charm for doom and heretic, no lag , no fluttering. even when i run P75 on i5 2140m often PCem drop to 75-80 % during loading/file handling, P50 works 100% all the time!!!

Battler thank You very much, no i know, but i did now 20000/20 and fluttering was back, and on 32000/20 is not, and on all other combinations i did going higher than 32000 fluttering is there, i dont understand this at all, does it need right balance? he he, i dont get it, i thought on 20000/20 it m...

when i was writting above post , it took me a while, and PCem was on waiting, after i posted i go back to PCem to see , did i hear that right, and flutterig was gone, i thought that i wrote some rubbish and it plays the sound fine, but after restart it flutter again. maybe thats still 627?

Yeah, its there, i was wrong assuming thats just cos of not enugh fast host CPU cos i was talking about skipping issue, i didnt listen properly. Leilei is right. it occurs also at 98-101 %

I have just checked doom with 627 and i did run on p75, if there is any lag now, i cant really notice, it is way better.
Everybody, lets check, you will see , i think the lag on doom is gone.
BTW to anyone, do you mind to tell me which line in which file is responsible for sound buffer length?

i run it on mmx300 , much better and smother but bit slower as PCem did 65%, on p166mmx i have same speed as on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc_4XY6Y7vM but of course not so many FPS. I got it , thanks. The full version is only 80megs, rest from cd thats audio tracks. Full version allow me to run High resolution, i was wrong assuming it wil have 800x600 resolution, it is 640x480 but it uses high resolution textures. On max detail, and so on , using p166mmx PCem , even on my shity...

Mash, Your host CPU have 2 threads to use, PCem using only 1 thread so u got 50% of cpu usage, when you run anything on voodoo u will get up to 100% . My i5 2140m works on turbo 2.7 non stop, when i do test on win98 p120mmx running quake 2 time demo 640x480 with voodoo, PCem performance is about 100...

Your Guesstimate is almost ok. but my gues is about 0.3 sec on p75, but yes there is small lag on doom. But remember one thing, You can not compare PCem to dosbox , by any means, Dosbox barely emulates any hardware, and when it does it makes shortcuts by simulating some behaviour, it was designed to...

i also have not seen any problems with stealth 3D, You said that you got that mono option in bios settings on, and your bios just does not seems to Save the changes, You said that. I think something might be wrong with your bios settings or file or something. dont know, really.

Arkl1e, dont worry about win10 passing any information, i love the system and i had everyone since ms.Dos, win311....and so on, and 10 is definitely the best from them all, just do not connect to net when you install, then You can set everything off in optiond here and there , and i always start...

Mr. Omarsis81 , he got 3.2ghz base and 3.6ghz turbo, i m sure when he run PCem his cpu works at 3.6 and trying hard, You however have 4.0ghz base and 4.4ghz turbo and please do check, cos when your cpu does very hard work is always pushing turbo, non stop and i belive yours on PCem does the same and...

Leilei, You right, i was wrong , dx is not only card and and stealth3d 2000 also have d3d acceleration, although 325 and 375 are almost the same, but i didnt know that 325 had acceleration, just cos when i tried to install sleath 3d long time ago, i must had wrong driver and i could not get d3d work...

Like Omaris81 have said, you probably have installed 3dfx card, but if you set drivers in windows to "ordinary" vga display adapter, you will only get 16 colors. If your display adapter is , "standard VGA" or "VGA display adapter" or similar , that is the problem, win95 have no drivers for virge dX,...

Resident evil 3 works fine.
Voodoo1 have tiny problems, i have been messing around a bit with it, when you shoot the spreaded blood have white square boxes around, also some water droplets have it also, on voodoo 1 , otherwise seen no problems on voodoo1 , and no problems on voodoo 2
