Re: Linux
jznomoney, this was already answered in some posts, but here you go. Now when you run PCem in Linux it will create folder ".pcem" in your home directory, its hidden so you may need to turn option "show all" in file manager, and copy roms folder to this folder. Another thing is th...

Re: questions about pcem
So like Omarsis81 said, the game has audio Tracks written on the disc, and it plays CD audio during gameplay. You have only ripped game files , in that case there will be no music. You must get original CD or .iso dump from original CD with Audio tracks on it.

Re: questions about pcem
Bighitti90 , well , do not expect to have sound tracks (ala CD music) if you make an iso from ripped game. so, no music. or do you mean that Earth worm jim has no sound? cos the 8.322kb .dat file might only have some MIDI in it. so you mean No Music? or No Sound?

Re: VHD support
so Vbox didnt accept the small 256MB img file created by PCem, so I did fill up the 2GB disk to full under DOS and place it in Vbox, it still accept the disk but it was: FATAL : Could not read from the boot medium! system halted. So yeah, probably that was footer fault. Still , you can use .vhd with...

Re: VHD support
aha, thanks, so only if i use the vhd extensively in PCem it might get unusable by Vbox, i tried original PCem .img in vbox, and it could not get storage format from the file. conclusion? .vhd can be used by PCem with caution. I wonder, could anyone of you guys try to "teach" PCem to do no...

Re: VHD support

Then i left that img and try to mount it in vbox without renaming that file, although vbox 4.1 in linux have no .img option so i chos...

I was searching where to post this, so it is for here. i had virtual machine on vbox i linux and annoying fact that i could not get fallout screen to fill whole screen as vbox will display small 640 "full screen" on 1366 screen. so i thought , well PCem should handle fallout easy, but i di...

Re: Windows 10 problem
Hi Battler , yes You were right and it is one of those strange isos. I quickly found solution online, as usually more people had same problem. All you need to do is manually set CPU architecture , in folder i386 is file Initial.inf but is yet to be installed and shows Initial.in_ and in that file yo...

Re: Windows 10 problem
Yuds2003 welcome here. You can install NT 3.1 on PCem. Boot from win95 floppy disk and then change letter to CD rom, change directory to i386 and type "winnt" this file runs in msdos. installer will ask you to provide empty floppy disk, so make copy of that win95 boot disk and format it, s...

Neshma please [Moderator: do not link to copyrighted material], you need only Rom folder so, unpack it and replace the rom frolder in your pcem v12 directory with the rom folder you just extracted. Dont do anything except copy and paste the rom folder, cos most likely you doing something wrong, and ...

Hi dreamer , in windows probably yes or where PCem Path's are assigned , cos lots change with new config method.
I like the new thing very much, using linux created /.pcem directory with all subfolders and after compiling PCem it runs no problem from src folder, no need to even copy it.
