Win9x segfaults with Voodoo Recompiler

When the voodoo recompiler is enabled and I try to do some Direct3D tests like dxdiag, it segfaults with voodoo_x86_data() being at fault.
Note: I'm using the Voodoo1 drivers from 1999 for win9x.
Drivers: http://www.falconfly.de/voodoo1.htm 01 May 1999 ones.

Black screen with any official SVGA driver on OS/2 2.0

Well, I tried a gazillion of drivers specifically for OS/2 2.0 and for the emulated cards of PCem, in 16 color mode, they work (ET4000AX, TVGA8900D), but 256 results in blackness during boot and I remember that it worked on mame with the ET4000AX in 256 color mode. ATI Mach64(gx) probable blitter issue

Under Windows 95 (but not in 3.1x or 98 or WinME) in 32bpp mode (all resolutions) this happens when trying to play some win3.1x games such as 4play:

This also doesn't affect third party win95 drivers for the card, only built-in ones are.

Tseng ET4000/w32p's problems with 1024x768

Under all operating systems (even Windows 3.1 as well as Windows 9x), this results in a black screen that remains in a "stopped" state, that is, the bios cursor doesn't flash and doesn't output this resolution and note, this happens with all its supported color depths (8bpp and 16bpp). Edit: I wonde...

regarding the scsi mmc code for cdrom.

Well, even atapi uses it (and that's already emulated). However, I was wondering how I can make a sort of "replica" of it, as I was analyzing the function atapicommand so I can make a sort of "scsi_command" for my aha154x work for inclusion on mainline pcem (if possible of course). What makes me stu...

Re: IBM XT - How to set up hard drive

you need 2.0.0 beta 3 of xtide for the IBM PC, XT and compatibles (though, not requested, 2.0.0 beta 3 should not be used for the PS/1, where you need 1.1.5 for it).

Re: Trident graphics (from downlods); display messed up

I'm currently running 3DFX with a Paradise Bahamas. So basically, I should make sure I have a 2D VGA card installed, and a 3DFX Voodoo? Is the Paradise Bahamas 2D, or 3D? Not sure how pressing the need is, but maybe a quick setup guide might help people? Particularly people who don't particularly r...

Re: Trident graphics (from downlods); display messed up

Well, an S3 Trio64 is a much better choice for displaying something useful on Windows 98/98SE, and the TVGA8900 is a video card, not a monitor, and limited to the resolution of 1024x768 at 256 colors at the highest possible. Voodoo Graphics is a separate 3D graphics card for existing 2D VGA cards, m...

Pretty much everything that has a "07" or "08" in the 0xX00 range in the one that doesn't work is replaced by "06" and "07" in this order in the one that doesn't black out.

Re: Windows 3.1 DOS Box VGA grabbing

I noticed that, at one point, in vdds3old.386 that Battler gave me (too), there's the virtual address of 0xfff78000, all other vdd 386 drivers have 0xffff8000, is this, maybe, the culprit? I'm not sure.

Re: [DISCUSSION] MS-DOS memory optimisation tricks

well, I think I had tested 2mb once on the tvga8900d on pcem, and they showed no problems, although probably the drivers I had can only address up to 1mb and that's why they work fine, probably those that expect 2mb display memory can have bugs.

Re: [DISCUSSION] MS-DOS memory optimisation tricks

Well, 2mb drivers for the TVGA8900D are usually buggy in Windows and others, so that's why it's not supported on PCem at the moment and, as for the et4000ax, yes, it would be configurable in the future :)
