Award 430VX BIOS converted to Award BootBlock BIOS

So, I am trying to play a game using a specific configuration (430VX, P120, 16MB) which I had no problems with for days. But then, the game locked up because the Award 430VX BIOS got changed to the Award BootBlock BIOS. Now I don't know anything about this BIOS, but it has given me nothing but trouble. There is no memory check, no system configurations screen, and no way to access Setup. Hard Drives are not recognized, which means that if I want to boot Windows 95 on one of my 1GB hard drives, I am out of luck. Restoring from a backup did nothing.

Try to redownload the BIOS that you're using

Try deleting roms\430vx\flash.bin

I have no idea why flash.bin was created in the first place.

Possibly something tried to flash the BIOS? From memory there were some viruses that did that.
